KG My Peace Poem
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/8/2006 11:00 PM
To me peace feels no wars, no violence.

To me peace feels like being or feeling like a puppy. Peace is not destroying a good friendship, sharing good ideas with one and a other and helping some one when they are feeling down or left out.

Peace is like a leaf ; it does not have to fight to survive. Peace is like flower, beautiful and harmless.

HR Peace Poem
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM

Peace feels quiet, and fun.

It feels happy, and friendly like to never touch a gun .

It feels like geting a nice new pet .

It feels like your best friend.

You feel like nothing compared to peace.

DH Peaceful Life
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM
Peace has sound and scent. It feels fresh
like the Spring breeze and wide like all of our
imagination combined. It sounds peaceful as
if someone was playing the violin very softly.

Peace also means different things for many
different people, mayve their opinion is much
different than mine but, for me, Peace is a life
of Freedom.

DS Feelings of Peace
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM
Peace feels like...
Sunflowers swaying in the breeze,
The soft touch of happiness,
The hug of a father home from war,
A father, who is not going back to die.

IT On the Patio

A calm and carefree mind.
Reading a book.
Listening to the quiet, gentle wind.

AA Peace Feels Like...
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM
Peace feels like the delicious sense of safety, like being in a cosy bed.
It feels like an ocean sunset, gleaming red.
Peace feels like doves flying in the air, with peaceful care.
The conflicts of the world are too much to bear.

OC A World Without War
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM

Peace feels like not touching a gun, not feeling lead in you, not feeling angry or sad.

Feeling nice and warm and happy, not war and coldness.

It is like a big soft cloud, or like a warm blanket over you.

Having a quiet world revolving around you.

Like hearing only the sound of laughing, not gunfire.

BD Sleeping Peace
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM

Peace is like sleeping.

You are relaxed and aand every thing around you is quite.

It is like you are on a soft fluffy pillow were every thing is calm.

That is when you don't have a care in th world.

That is what I think peace feels like.

ZS I Feel Peace
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM
Each day I feel peace...
It feels warm, soft and fuzzy.

Each day I feel peace
I feel happy and safe.

Each day I feel peace
I feel free and comfortable.

Each day I feel peace
It does not feel like war or death.

Each day I feel peace
It does not feel frightening.

Each day I feel peace
It feels warm, soft and fuzzy.

I wish every child could feel peace all the time.

DP Freedom
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM

Peace feels like a soft breeze running through your hair, and it makes me think of Freedom.

When you do something good, it makes you feel mighty and greatful.

Peace is : no war, being kind to one another, and not touching a gun or using it.

Some good things and some not good things make me think of Peace and Freedom.

AC If the World Lived in Peace
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM

If the world lived in peace...

You would never ask "What is a gun?" because it wouldn't exist.
If you heard the word pain or sorrow you would ask what such words mean.

You would wonder what war and fight means.

You would ask what does it feel like to break a friendship?

God would look down at us with happiness and not sorrow.

I know there is such a thing as peace and it's out there. This makes me happy I live in Canada a peaceful country.

If only all people understood and lived in peace then the world would truly live in peace.

CB Peace
Ms. Elkins Student Work 2006-2007 By elkina@sjr.mb.ca on 10/4/2006 11:00 PM
Peace is a wonderful feeling.
I think peace is feeling calm.
Peace is also very wonderful.
I think this because of the expression "ahh this is so peaceful. "
