Electronic Books: Is this the future of reading?

I love to read. Now, I can carry around hundreds of books in a device called an electronic book reader. It is like an iPod, only instead of storing music, it stores books. Hundred of them.

At first glance, it looks like an ordinary old-fashioned book, but upon closer inspection, you will see it is an electronic book reader. An electronic book reader uses "electronic ink." This is a computer display that mimics the appearance of real ink on paper.

Unlike typical computer displays like LCD screens, e-ink causes no eye-strain, can be viewed in direct sunlight, and uses very little energy. This technology has created a new platform for reading electronic books. Those white iPod earbuds look cool, but there are many other headphones that can make your iPod sound much, much better.

 

Okay, you look around and see everyone walking around wearing those iPod earbuds.  They look so cool, but did you know that they are not the best things to use to listen to music?
