Grade 11 nad 12 students viewed Edward Sicciorhands and were asked to write a response to the film based on their observations of story, acting, directing, editing, set, costume and music. Student responses are posted in "comments"

Grade 9 Drama students watched The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Students were asked to respond to the film paying particular attention to when the acting seemed very "fake" or very "real". Student responses are posted here.

The Oscars are on Feb. 24. Sound off on your predictions here. Who WILL win? Who SHOULD win? Who didn't get nominated, but SHOULD have? Say it out loud before the results are aired and you can brag to all your friends that you knew it first!

Mamet Fest 2008 |

This year, the 20th Century Master Plywright Festival is celebrating the work of David Mamet. Mamet is a contemporary American playwright known for gritty scripts and capturing realistic speech patterns of people in stressful or anxious states. Details of the festival can be found here:
