The Clouds That Never Were
All in town was silent.
Not an animal stirred,
Not a man was reading his book,
The wind was as delicate as could be,
Except at the factory.
This factory is breathing with work,
RACKET,
And the hustle and bustle of men trying to finish their toil,
So they can get back to their families and houses.
No being took notice of the billowing chimneys that oh so polluted the atmosphere.
As fake clouds were formed from this pollution,
Others danced along the sky and vanished into the moonlight.
These are the clouds that never were.
