| Creative Expression is exactly whats in its name.. I dont think it is something that can be defined because it is different for each person and so there cant be one definition of it. I suppose it could be defined as a persons way of expressing themselves through something else. Or something like that

Art is important for people to express themselves. It provides us with the ability to express ourselves through something other than words. It is fun and relaxing and there is never any wrong answers. It is very theraputic for some people.
|

| Creative expression is demonstrating your ideas and values through a different medium than normal. Creative expression is basically art however it has a deeper meaning to it than it would otherwise. Creative expression doesn not have to be art in the sense of a painting hung up on a wall, it can also be dance, music etc.

Art is do darn important because it allows us to explore our views and beliefs in a manner that would not otherwise be possible. It adds another layer of meaning to our message that would be absent if we simply made a list. |

| Creative expression, put simply. is expressing how you feel in an unexpected way. I think that in order to express yourself creatively, you need to let go of everything and try not to think about what is expected, what is right, and what is or is not possible.
Art is important because without it, our lives would be bland and have little meaning. I think that even without knowing what it was, we might still look for it, though i guess we wouldnt really know what we were looking for exactly. |

| Creative expression is any form of expression (visual arts, music, dance) that an individual demonstrates to exercise what they believe to be creative.
Art is so important because it allows people to uniquely express themselves without having to explain themselves verbally or at all. It enhances the need for creativity and inspires people. |

| Creative expression is taking aspects of our existence (eg emotion) and portraying them in a way that is unique to every individual, like a thumbprint; in a way that is abstract, surreal, or anything else. True creative expression can be interpreted endlessly.

Art is the perfect imperfect activity; it is nonlinear, raw expression, unbound by rules or tradition, and only gains character from flaws or mistakes. Art can be anything and is technically everything (as in you can find art wherever you look, including on Mr. Martin's dog walks). |

| okay creative expression. well it is a way to express yourself but in a way that people will be intrigued to know what your feelings are. It can also be a way for you to understand yourself by laying it out a different way. maybe
And why is art important. well i think it is important because without it our lives would be dull and repetative because everyone would be the same. because everything we do is art. actually .. now that i consider it. there is no possible way of knowing what our lives would be like without art because no one could ever imagine a world without it, every thing we do is art
!! so there would be nothing to consider because there WOULDNT BE ANYTHING!!!!!!! |

| Creative expression is pretty much the limitless capabilities of an artist and their medium, because when these two things come together the possibilities are endless. Creative expression has no limit and no "right or wrong". It is simply however one chooses to depict their ideas and emotions, through creation and their own minds.

Art is SO DARN IMPORTANT because...well can you imagine a world without art?! It'd be horrible! Everything would be drab and lifeless, and culture probably wouldn't even exist because humans would have no means of expressing themselves through anything involving emotion or feeling. All they would have is words-and maybe not even. Everything is a form of art if you think about it. Art is pretty much creativity in a form that we can sense (see, hear, feel), so without art we'd pretty much be nothing but a lot of lifeless vessells aimlessly passing through life. there's simply be no fun or excitement. |

| To me, creative expression is any form of communication and the relaying of ideas from people to people. It seeks to describe or depict how we think, feel, and react to our other senses. Whether it accomplishes its purpose, communicates something "meaningful", or does it in a "good" way, is arbitrary and thus irrelevant. Art is so important because it is such a universal method of getting this point across. You do not need to know a certain language, as you would for poetry, to express yourself and be heard. As a self-centered, social species, we as humans are always vying to achieve this and our need to let our thoughts into the open is what drives art. |

| What is creative expression?
Creative expression is “imaginative processes with outcomes that are original and of value” (quote from book). Creative expression is not only the act of thinking originally, but more importantly doing things originally. It is not art specific, and can be performed in virtually all parts of life.

Why is Art so darn important?
Art is important because it makes life interesting. Without it not only would there not only be no formal art pieces such as paintings, sculptures or drawings, but there would be no aesthetic influence on other things. Therefore nothing would be aesthetically pleasing at all; buildings, cities, cars, food, or anything really. Things would solely serve the purpose of performing a task and not be interesting. This would mean society would be incredibly boring, as people would just do without being challenged to think outside of the “box” (for lack of a better term) much, or at all as they would have little method left for creative expression. Of course, this is purely hypothetical, but art is important because it influences other factions of life a great deal, and is a part of almost all of them, so a world without art is actually unimaginable.
|
